We are located in Opelika, Alabama and have been in the cattle business for more than 30 years. Randy and Oline will tell you that the cattle and horses helped shape Cameron and Hunter into the fine young men they are today.
In 1988 we purchased our first Hereford cattle. We are proud of this breed and the opportunities and friendships it has offered.
Cameron was named National Champion Intermediate Showman at the 1998 National Junior Hereford Expo. He went on to serve on the National Junior Hereford Association Board of Directors from 2002 until 2005. A graduate of Oklahoma State University who is now employed by DeLaval and living in Oklahoma, Cameron is quick to credit his experience as a Junior Hereford Association member in guiding him towards his career.
Hunter, a graduate of Auburn University and a licensed Tennessee Walking Horse trainer who exhibited the Junior Juvenile World Grand Champion Racking Horse in 1998 and 1999 is responsible for managing the horse barn at C&H Farms. He also introduced and is busy managing a new venture at C&H Farms, Heart of Dixie Genetics that consists of an intensive donor program for PBR owners as well as partnership in several bulls on the PBR circuit. He and his wife, Lisa, live on the farm.
In 2005 Randy and Oline moved back to the farm that has been in Oline’s family for almost 150 years. While making the move we decided to expand the cattle base and purchased Angus, SimAngus and Maintainer females. We are excited about the opportunities these breeds are providing, just as our first Hereford cattle did in 1988. We are developing and strengthening our breeding program utilizing the top AI sires in the country on females that have a proven genetic background as well as a strong ET program.
The goal at C&H Farms is simple... raise competitive club calves, bulls and heifers that our customers are proud to own.
Our success depends on your success.
